Ways to work together
Every company I've worked with needed something different. Some needed marketing built from nothing. Others had a team in place that needed to hit a number.
Here's how I can help, depending on where you are.
Full-time CMO
For
B2B tech companies that need marketing built or rebuilt, and a marketing leader on the executive team.
What I own
Go-to-market strategy, pipeline, positioning and brand, the marketing team, and board and investor reporting.
I've sat on the executive committee at every company where I've led marketing, setting strategy with the CEO, sales and product. At RunMyProcess, Jabmo and Cosmo Tech, that also meant fundraising: building the investor materials and presenting marketing and sales strategy to VCs.
I'm also at home in matrix organizations, where much of the work runs through people who don't report to marketing. At Packard Bell I led teams of up to 13, including indirect reports.
Fractional CMO
For
Tech and AI companies that need senior marketing leadership, but not a full-time CMO yet.
What you get
A CMO two or three days a week, with real ownership. I join your leadership meetings, own the marketing plan, direct the team or agencies doing the work, and roll up my sleeves where it's needed.
In early-stage companies I'm often hands-on too: shaping the brand, getting the website live and building the first campaigns, with AI tools speeding up the work.
I'm currently fractional CMO for Feldy, a US AI platform for contractors.
Strategic projects
For
A defined build with a clear finish line.
- An account-based marketing program, focused on the companies most likely to buy
- An AI rollout for your marketing and sales team, including training
- A channel or technology partner program
- A rebrand and repositioning
- An analyst relations program (Forrester, Gartner)
- A market entry plan for the US or Europe
- Structuring a marketing team, and mentoring the people who lead it
How it starts
A conversation.
What's stuck, what's been tried, and what success looks like.
The first few weeks.
I review what's in place, talk to sales and product, and agree a plan with you.
The first three months.
Quick wins go live while the longer work runs in parallel. You see concrete results inside three months.
Questions people ask
What does fractional mean in practice?
A senior leader, part-time, with real ownership. Not an adviser who sends a report. For the days I'm with you, I'm part of your leadership team.
How many days a week?
Usually two to three, depending on your stage and how much hands-on work is needed.
Remote or on-site?
Mostly remote, with time on-site for the meetings that matter. I'm based in Europe and work with teams in the US and Europe.
Can a fractional role become full-time?
Yes, if it's right on both sides. It's also a low-risk way to find out.
